Men Smashed Window, Stole $1,045 in Cigarettes From Gas Station, Police Say

Vincent Granderson, of Webster Groves, is charged with burglary and felony theft in the break-in at the Conoco gas station on Big Bend Boulevard.

A man is charged with breaking into a Maplewood gas station and stealing 42 cartons of cigarettes May 12. Vincent Granderson, 48, of the 7800 block of South Big Bend Boulevard in Webster Groves, was charged Thursday with second-degree burglary and felony theft. Maplewood Police said Granderson is shown on security video, acting with another person in burglarizing the Maplewood Fuel Mart at 3600 South Big Bend Blvd. A large rock was thrown through the glass front door and Granderson and an accomplice then stuffed 42 cigarette cartons into a trash bag and fled. Maplewood Woman Charged in Three University City Burglaries

University City Police said Breeanna E. Eaton and another person broke into three U City homes in February and March.

A Maplewood woman is accused of participating in three burglaries in University City in February and March. Breeanna E. Eaton, 27, of the 7600 block of Jerome Avenue in Maplewood, was charged Monday with three counts of second-degree burglary, two counts of felony stealing and one count of misdemeanor stealing. University City Police said Eaton and another person entered three U City homes and stole several items: Police said Eaton went to each of the three locations with another person, allowed her car to be used in the burglaries and shared in money gained from selling the items. Richmond Heights Man Charged With 3 Counts of Second-Degree Burglary

Myron Whiters is serving a seven-year sentence for a Fenton burglary, and now faces additional charges for thefts in Chesterfield.

A 51-year-old man is accused of burglarizing four Chesterfield businesses in 2012. Myron Whiters, of the 1500 block of Banneker Avenue in Richmond Heights was charged April 10 with three counts of second-degree burglary and misdemeanor theft. On Monday, Whiters was charged with an additional second-degree burglary and misdemeanor theft charge. Chesterfield Police said Whiters broke into three suites at 16020 Swingley Ridge Road between 7:30 p.m. Aug. 21 and 8:30 a.m. Aug. 22. Police said he entered Prospect Infosys Inc., American Family Insurance and Solutions Counseling Associates. Whiters stole a laptop from Solutions Counseling, according to a police report. Chesterfield Police said Whiters also broke into an office building at 16476 …

MRH Student Stole Laptop While Fellow Student Worked in Weight Room, Police Say

Maplewood Police said Ronnie Moore said he sold the computer to another student; the MacBook was recovered from that student, who also was arrested.

A Maplewood-Richmond Heights High School student is accused of stealing a laptop computer from another student. Ronnie Moore, 17, of the 1000 Moorlands Drive in Richmond Heights, was charged Wednesday with felony theft. Maplewood Police said a student reported his school-issued Apple MacBook was stolen from his backpack as he worked out in the Maplewood-Richmond Heights High School weight room between 3:30 and 5 p.m. Jan. 14. Police said video evidence showed Moore near the weight room about the time the theft took place. Moore’s backpack was noticeably bigger leaving the weight room than when he arrived, police said. Man Snatched Laptop From Woman's Hands at Brentwood Bread Co., Police Say

Terrell Holley also is charged with nine robberies, forcible sodomy and attempted forcible rape in the city of St. Louis.

A man is accused of helping snatch a laptop computer from a woman’s hands as she sat in a Brentwood restaurant. Terrell Holley, 18, of the 5300 block of Terry Avenue in St. Louis, was charged March 26 with second-degree robbery. Brentwood Police said Holley and another man forced a laptop computer from a woman’s hands as she sat inside St. Louis Bread Co., 1909 South Brentwood Blvd., at 9:02 p.m. May 7, 2012. Holley held the door open so his accomplice could make a quick exit while holding the computer with two hands, according to a court document. Holley also faces 21 charges in the city of St. Louis, including nine counts of first-degree robbery and attempted robbery, forcible sodomy, attempted forcible rape, two counts of kidnapping and…

Officers Stake Out, Catch Maplewood AC Thief, Police Say

The man had stolen an air conditioner at the same home, owned by the Metropolitan Sewer District, Jan. 30, Maplewood Police said.

Maplewood Police keeping watch on a home due to recent thefts spotted a man backing a truck into a driveway Monday in the 7700 block of Weaver Avenue, a home owned by the Metropolitan Sewer District. The man spotted police as they moved in and drove away at high speeds, weaving in and out of traffic, running red lights and traffic signs and going up on a curb. The man was arrested several days later, police said. Carlos Lusk, 35, of the 1500 block of Bradford Avenue in Pagedale, was charged Thursday with felony stealing, attempted felony stealing and resisting arrest. Man Stole $1,230 With Fake Refunds at Maplewood Store, Police Say

The former employee at Game Stop in Maplewood Commons was charged with theft January 31.

An employee is accused of stealing money from the Game Stop store in Maplewood Commons. Jordan Loeffelman, 22, of Second Governor Court in O’Fallon, MO was charged Jan. 31 with felony stealing. Maplewood Police said Loeffelman confessed to his employers that he stole at least $900 between April 1 through April 24 by executing fraudulent refunds and taking cash from the register. Investigators determined $1,230.92 had been stolen from the store at 1821 Maplewood Commons Drive, police said.
