Man Stole Camera From Turner Center for the Arts, Police Say
Maplewood Police said the man was in the center asking about a job, and the camera was stolen from a table near the front door.
A Maplewood man stole a camera from Turner Center for the Arts after inquiring about job openings at the center, according to Maplewood Police. Frederick Fulton, 24, of the 3700 block of Greenwood Avenue in Maplewood, was charged Nov. 26 with felony stealing. Maplewood Police said Fulton stole a Nikon camera valued at $1,000 and a tripod valued at $50 from the center between 2:15 and 3 p.m. Sept. 18 at 3109 Sutton Blvd. A Turner Center employee told police that Fulton was in the building asking about possible employment. The camera was stolen from a table near the front door, police said. Less than two hours later, Fulton tried to pawn the camera. Police said he told them he bought the camera from a friend for $20.
