University City Police said Breeanna E. Eaton and another person broke into three U City homes in February and March.
A Maplewood woman is accused of participating in three burglaries in University City in February and March. Breeanna E. Eaton, 27, of the 7600 block of Jerome Avenue in Maplewood, was charged Monday with three counts of second-degree burglary, two counts of felony stealing and one count of misdemeanor stealing. University City Police said Eaton and another person entered three U City homes and stole several items: Police said Eaton went to each of the three locations with another person, allowed her car to be used in the burglaries and shared in money gained from selling the items. Myron Whiters is serving a seven-year sentence for a Fenton burglary, and now faces additional charges for thefts in Chesterfield.
A 51-year-old man is accused of burglarizing four Chesterfield businesses in 2012. Myron Whiters, of the 1500 block of Banneker Avenue in Richmond Heights was charged April 10 with three counts of second-degree burglary and misdemeanor theft. On Monday, Whiters was charged with an additional second-degree burglary and misdemeanor theft charge. Chesterfield Police said Whiters broke into three suites at 16020 Swingley Ridge Road between 7:30 p.m. Aug. 21 and 8:30 a.m. Aug. 22. Police said he entered Prospect Infosys Inc., American Family Insurance and Solutions Counseling Associates. Whiters stole a laptop from Solutions Counseling, according to a police report. Maplewood Police said Ronnie Moore said he sold the computer to another student; the MacBook was recovered from that student, who also was arrested.
A Maplewood-Richmond Heights High School student is accused of stealing a laptop computer from another student. Ronnie Moore, 17, of the 1000 Moorlands Drive in Richmond Heights, was charged Wednesday with felony theft. Maplewood Police said a student reported his school-issued Apple MacBook was stolen from his backpack as he worked out in the Maplewood-Richmond Heights High School weight room between 3:30 and 5 p.m. Jan. 14. Police said video evidence showed Moore near the weight room about the time the theft took place. Moore’s backpack was noticeably bigger leaving the weight room than when he arrived, police said. A Las Vegas man was faces a felony stealing charge after trying to scam a Maplewood bike shop, police said. Charles Chapman, 42, of Las Vegas, was charged Feb. 26 with stealing as a third offense within 10 years. Chapman has pleaded guilty to two counts of theft in Pennsylvania, one count of retail fraud in Michigan and shoplifting in Yakima, WA. Maplewood Police said Chapman took several bottles of chamois cream off a shelf and brought them up to the counter at Maplwood Bicycle, 7534 Manchester Road, on July 7, 2011. An employee is accused of stealing money from the Game Stop store in Maplewood Commons. Jordan Loeffelman, 22, of Second Governor Court in O’Fallon, MO was charged Jan. 31 with felony stealing. Maplewood Police said Loeffelman confessed to his employers that he stole at least $900 between April 1 through April 24 by executing fraudulent refunds and taking cash from the register. Investigators determined $1,230.92 had been stolen from the store at 1821 Maplewood Commons Drive, police said. More than $500 was stolen between Jan. 16 and Feb. 16, 2012, according to Brentwood Police.
A Petsmart employee stole at least $500 in cash from the store by faking merchandise returns, Brentwood Police said. Mark Tyler, 39, of the 4400 block of Turquoise in the Affton area, was charged Jan. 25 with felony theft. Brentwood Police said Tyler worked for the Petsmart store in the Promenade, made fraudulent returns and kept the cash between Jan. 16 and Feb. 16. Bail for Tyler was set at $10,000. A St. Louis woman has been charged with burglary and theft in the incident.
A woman was charged with burglarizing a Maplewood home, stealing a safe, computer, electronics and other items. Ceara N. Goudy, 21, of the 3200 block of Henrietta Avenue in South St. Louis, was charged Jan. 17 with second-degree burglary and felony theft. Maplewood Police said Goudy and another woman entered a home in the 7500 block of Comfort Avenue between 7:45 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Nov. 9. Police said she and another woman stole a gold wedding band, two watches, two gold necklaces, a Cornwell diagnostic computer, a digital camera and a safe that contained cash and personal documents. A man faces criminal charges in a Sept. 7 burglary in the 2000 block of McReady Avenue in Maplewood. Corey Buie, 34, of the 1200 block of Rockbridge Place in Kirkwood, was charged with first-degree burglary and stealing. Maplewood Police said Buie stole $480 from the home on McReady. Buie told the victim’s son he was in the home, but he was trying to chase the burglar out. The victim told police Buie participated in the burglary. Bond was set at $50,000, cash only. Two men face criminal charges after police said they tried to steal copper pipe from a Maplewood home almost a year ago. The home was in an area slated for demolition for the Mini Cooper dealership. Maplewood Police said a witness saw the men entering the home, in the 3000 block of Coleman Avenue on Oct. 29, 2011. Police caught them as they were leaving the home with copper pipe. A police report said the back door had been kicked in. Alvin Jefferson, 36, of the 10300 block of Ashbrook in Bellefontaine Neighbors, and L.B. A man was charged Thursday with burglarizing a Maplewood home and stealing items valued at about $3,600. Alexander Crockett, 22, of the 4900 block of Cote Brilliante in St. Louis, faces second-degree burglary and stealing charges. Maplewood police said Crockett and another person broke into a home in the 7600 block of Weaver Avenue on July 16. Police said they stole an Xbox game system and hard drive, bank checks, two laptop computers, cell phone, iPod, diamond ring and a pair of shoes. Bond for Crockett was set at $40,000.
