Megan Denell Huether is a resident of the City of Manchester, currently serving on the Interim Leadership Team responsible for forming the Manchester Arts Council. Most recently, Megan held the position of Associate Director of Education with the St. Louis Symphony's Community and Education Program, where she led Symphony's revamping of its in-school programs, an effort supported by professional development designed in partnership with her colleague, Richard Ashburner. A classical musician by training, Megan studied bassoon at Interlochen Arts Academy, Northwestern University and Indiana University Bloomington and has previously worked for Melvin Kaplan, Inc and the Boston Modern Orchestra Project. Ms. Denell Huether is a graduate of CORO’s Women in Leadership Program and was the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri’s 2008 Woman of Distinction in Creative Arts. Besides her volunteer work with the Manchester Arts Council, Megan is currently raising a family with her husband.
