ReplyUgh, that's terrible. If nothing else, this will serve as a sobering reminder to me not to get careless with my little guy when we're out running errands. Two seconds of inattention and now this poor mom has to live with this mistake forever.

ReplyI moved out here from New York City where it was pretty typical to wait until around 40 to start a family, so it's been hard to be so far away from my friends and their babies while I'm going through the stages of first-time motherhood. I've met nice moms through St. Louis Mommies, but it's hard not to cringe when I realize that many of them were born when I was in high school...or even college! You're right though, I don't stress about much of anything baby-related. I'm too busy enjoying the ride.

I saw this accident last night and feared the worst when I saw that little red car. I hope he recovers quickly; he and his family are in my thoughts.
