Maybe if we either ban alcohol or stiffen the fines, maybe we can reduce drunk driving!!

I think posting signs prohibiting concealed carry are silly: who in their right mind will pay any attention to that! Who would know there was a gun it it was properly concealed? The establishment posting a sign prohibiting carring a weapon of self defense assumes the responsibility to protect it's patrons, leaving the store open to a lawsuit should a person on site be injured (or killed) by a criminal when they had no weapon on their person to defend themselves. Open carry simply advertises the fact that the person has a gun. Concealed carry keeps the criminals guessing who is armed and who is not, a much more preferable situation. Open carry invites the bad guys to attempt to grab the gun--- in the ensuing struggle, it could discharge, possibly injuring or killing someone. Open carry stupidly advertises that the person with the gun needs reinforcement of his/her image --- silly and dangerous! Conceal the damn thing if you must carry it and shut up about it.
