Maplewood Man Spotted Climbing in Apartment Building Window, Police Say

Maplewood Police said Vadim Krasnyanskiy stole an air compressor and tools from the building.

A Maplewood man was spotted entering an apartment building through a basement window Saturday in the 2100 block of Yale Avenue, police said.

Vadim S. Krasnyanskiy, 27, of the 7100 block of Lyndover Place in Maplewood, was charged Sunday with second-degree burglary and felony stealing.

Maplewood Police said Kransyanskiy stole an air compressor and tools from the building. The estimated value of the stolen items was more than $750.

Kransyanskiy is being held in St. Louis County jail. Bail was set at $30,000, cash only.
